Chirag Karia is the founder of Bright Fox Health.
Originally from the UK, Chirag holds an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience from King’s College London (Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience)—one of the world’s leading centres for mental health research.
He has also completed professional training in evidence-based psychological approaches and counselling.
Chirag founded Bright Fox around a simple belief: when young people feel better, they do better.
He brings experience from a range of mental health settings, including work with a leading US non-profit to a prestigious residential treatment facility in Asia.
He also brings operational expertise from building and running a successful UK-based manufacturing business—shaping Bright Fox’s standards, governance, and professionalism.
Now based in the UAE, with international experience across the US, Europe, and Asia, Chirag is committed to supporting and strengthening mental wellbeing for young people and families across the region.
We created Bright Fox because we kept seeing the same thing: young people in the UAE who were struggling—but didn’t fit neatly into the boxes available to them.
They weren’t in crisis. They didn’t need a diagnosis. But they weren’t coping as well as they could.
Their parents felt stuck—unsure whether to push harder at home, wait it out, or jump straight into therapy.
We saw a gap. So we built something to fill it.
We believe that how you feel isn’t fixed -it’s trainable.
Emotional regulation, focus, resilience, confidence—these aren’t personality traits you either have or don’t have. They’re skills that can be learned, practiced, and strengthened over time.
But they don’t develop automatically. And they develop differently at different ages.
That’s why our programmes are tailored to three developmental stages:
11–14, 15–18, and 19–25—designed around how young people actually think, feel, and make sense of the world at each age.
We meet young people where they are. And we give them tools that actually work in their real lives—at school, at home, with friends, and inside their own heads.
Not sure if Bright Fox is right for your family?
Book a free, private consultation. We’ll take the time to understand your young person’s needs and explore whether our programme is the right fit – with no pressure and no obligation.
